Houston’s is one of my all-time favorite venues for more than a few reasons. Once you add a spectacular couple like Taylor and Zac, it’s adding up to a wonderful day! These two are just the sweetest people there ever could be and photographing them is a dream. Literally, Zac is one of the best grooms I’ve ever photographed and Taylor is all smiles all the time! I can’t believe how fast the day went, but you know what they say, time flies when you’re having fun! It’s always incredibly rewarding to photograph a couple like Taylor and Zac because they love to have fun and don’t mind the extra pictures either! I know I’ll be sharing this beautiful day for a long time to come and I’m so excited for them to see the entire gallery. Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Reynolds!

I love being a photographer and shooting weddings. However it goes with out saying that the job is so much more enjoyable when you have fun people to photograph. Jaime and Taylor are exactly those people too. They know how to laugh and have a good time and everyone around them can’t help but soak up that energy too. Needless to say, there wedding was incredibly fun and beyond gorgeous. If it comes down to anything it was having a lot of really great vendors their that made it organized and beautiful but also their venue is to die for! I can go on and on about The Robinshaw. In fact, after I stopped shooting that night I talked to the owner. Jonie, about how amazing the venue is laid out and how many wonderful details they thought of. I was blown away! I’m always so happy when everything comes together for a couple and they have the best experience on their wedding day and I know Jaime and Taylor had just that! I couldnt’t be happier for these two and these images are some of my very favorites! Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Edmonds!

I’ve been dreaming of the day I could share Megan’s Bridal Session at Goodwin Manor. The light was amazing and Goodwin is just one of those places that looks good all year round! Let this be a reminder to all of you just how pretty a February session can be even when Arkansas is still looking a little… dead. With strategic planning picking the right day and the right location, you too can have a gorgeous winter session! Also, thank goodness for Goodwin Manor for being a venue I can continuously come back to when I need somewhere gorgeous to shoot.
We actually got just a little lucky this day and the weather was just warm enough Megan wasn’t freezing! You never know what the weather will do here. After photographing a lot of weddings in Arkansas over the years, I’ll say November to March could be warm, hot, or even freezing from one week to another. It makes absolutely no sense but as a southern photographer you have to make it work!
Other than Megan being an absolute, drop dead, gorgeous bride her bouquet made her session feel alive and gave it color! The hues of this bouquet are to die for and I’ll be singing Bloom’s praises for years to come for making this session a winner in my book. I couldn’t help but make them a highlight and I know Megan loved them too. I’ll be looking back at this session for a long time in love with how these images turned out.

The 23rd of April I showed up to a house with tons of happy smiling women running around trying to get ready for the days events. They were incredibly sweet and supportive as I laid out Berkley’s details and started arranging them, giving me oohs and ahhs but mostly proclaims of excitement to each other while they finished getting ready. I soon realized how incredibly fun this wedding would be. That loving, courteous feeling followed me through the entire day because quite frankly this wedding was made up of the best people. Berkley and Edward have the best type of people around them. The community of friends and family made the entire wedding day (and I’m sure the planning process) fun and relaxed too. I couldn’t have loved working with a group of people more. I know Berkley and Edward will have the happiest marriage and it was wonderful capturing this day for them! Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Dixon!

This past Saturday I photographed a beautiful wedding at Kindred Barn in Mulberry Arkansas. I had that “good day” feeling before I even picked up my camera. The weather, light, florals, vendors, couple… everything was beyond perfect. Needless to say, I was in photographer heaven. I’m incredibly excited to share all the gorgeous images from Megan and Chase’s wedding because this was certainly a highlight of my career. I can’t say enough wonderful things about these two and the sweet, silly love they share but I wish them a lifetime of love. Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Wilson!

This past Saturday I had the honor of capturing their wedding at Orion Hill and it was a day to remember! I shared so many photos I’ve lost count but there wasn’t a moment I wanted to pass. I’m so lucky I get to work for gorgeous, kind-hearted, sweet couples like Darby and Stephen. I only wish a lifetime of love and happiness to them and that they get to hold on to each other forever!

The Brooks Museum is one of my favorite places to photograph Memphis engagement sessions. It has that classy and stately vibe I tend to obsess over and my couples have loved it too. I’m so glad Savannah and Austin decided to have their session here. It was a cloudy day and the light building made everything so glowy and dreamy! A combination of good outfit choices and location can make all the difference when it comes to how good your engagement photos turn out.

Max Patch is a dream and believe it or not I’ve had it on my “bucket list locations” list for a while now! The mountaintop is stunning and the Blue Ridge Mountains roll on for days. It was Ashley’s dream to say I do to Addison during golden hour with the stunning backdrop at Max Patch and let me just say, we made it happen!! I’m so happy with how these turned out and I know I’ll be obsessing over these for a long time to come.

I know you guys see a lot of weddings over here but I had to share Julia’s Senior Session. Senior sessions are my jam and Julia was another beautiful client who slayed her session! I can’t believe how gorgeous these turned out. (Well, maybe I can.) Plus, we have to talk about her outfits and how adorable they are. I’m in love with these!

Leah & CJ had such a beautiful day at Knotting Hills. The forecast literally days before changed and had a rain percentage of 70% or more! Thankfully the rain came in for just a few minutes twice that day and the weather was perfect and bright almost all day. This was my first time shooting at this venue and I was blown away!
